June 1: Mercury enters Cancer
Under this influence, the mental focus shifts from the realm of ideas and communication (Gemini) to family, home, nurturing, emotional safety (Cancer). Co-present are Venus and Jupiter, the latter acting as an amplifier of the sign’s qualities. Emotions could be more intense during this transit, sometimes maybe too much so. Mercury in Cancer, unless balanced, can be a bit of a “crybaby“, but it is also a good transit for tending to one’s home, family, and that which gives us a sense of belonging and safety.
June 4: Mercury square Neptune
This transit could bring a lot of confusion in terms of communication and what is being presented (especially in media, politics). We might see some kind of revelation or spectacle of a Neptunian aka deceptive nature. “Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear“, as the song goes.
June 9: Venus conjunct Jupiter
An emotionally intense conjunction that could bring a strong desire to connect with partners, family or friends (especially female). Almost exactly square Chiron in Aries, feelings, insecurities or conflicts surrounding independence or self-assertion could be amped up, though.
June 10: Mercury square Saturn
There might be some butting heads with authority or men, fathers/ paternal figures, or monetary issues where our sense of security is threatened (also possibly irrational decisions). With the Moon in Aries on the day of the exact square, we have a lot of need for individual expression that might not be met at the moment, or challenged by certain duties or circumstances that may have to do with the past or family.
June 13: Venus enters Leo, Venus square Chiron
Venus becomes the sexy, unapologetic “lioness“ in the fixed fire sign, which can also bode well for money matters. However, there might be some extra spending involved for things that are luxurious or flashy, or simply make us feel good (at the very least, we will possibly want to spend more on nice things). This is a very confident placement, and one that will benefit those who are not normally at ease in the spotlight. However, the square with Chiron, having just entered Taurus, could bring out discomfort or conflict where our self-esteem is concerned, wounds from the past, or how we feel about our own bodies, sexuality or confidence in general.
